In 2018 the MUGA was upgraded with a new artificial grass surface and is marked up for one 5v5 or 6v6 football pitch or two smaller ones. Since the upgrade the MUGA has been used extensively for Youth and Adult football and Rugby training; Under 8 football matches; Junior Rugby school on Sunday mornings; one to one elite football training; goalkeeper training; walking football sessions; informal five and six a sides; netball matches; Birthday Parties and Youth entertainment on Thursday evenings in conjunction with Archie’s Extra.

The area is floodlit and is available for hire from as little as £23 per hour for Somerton residents and organisations.
